Led by head coach Alma Mater, the Texas A&M University football team played its first football game in 1894. Students and supporters of the University are dubbed the "Aggies," short for "agricultural." "Aggie" enthusiasm and support has translated into more than just participating in pre-game traditions, but also into a lifestyle, complete with a Code of Honor and Yelling Practices.
